Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer is in Las Vegas to meet with the Las Vegas police and sheriff’s departments on Wednesday, and has promised the league a full investigation of the shooting.
Palmer, who has been cleared by the NFL after being cleared by an independent arbitrator, has been under scrutiny since a video emerged of him allegedly telling the Las Villas nightclub security to shoot unarmed man.
Palming has denied he yelled “get the f— out of here” or that he was upset by the video.
But he said Wednesday that the league will investigate the incident and take whatever action is appropriate, including firing the coach.
Palmers decision to go to Las Vegas was announced Wednesday afternoon after he spoke to the NFL’s Senior Vice President of Football Operations, Paul Tagliabue, and other league officials.
He was scheduled to fly to Las Peñasquitos, Costa Rica, on Thursday.
The Raiders have not released the full video.
Tagliadue said the league is looking at all angles and will make a determination based on what’s seen.
