TUSCALOOSA, Ariz.
— Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona, has added an attraction that is set to be a “Desert Tour” for the coming year.
The “Deserter Tour” will be a short, immersive experience for adults and children to take a walk along a rugged path and meet a group of Desert Men, some of whom have become legendary desert survivalists and explorers.
The tour will start at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 30 at the Desert Museum at Tucsy’s Riverbank Park, 10400 W. Riverfront Drive.
The desert tour is not for the faint of heart and requires a minimum age of 13.
“We want to show people that it is possible to survive in the desert, even in a desert environment,” said Desert Museum curator Jeff Kallen.
“It is just one of the many challenges we face in our lives.
We’re not talking about being a bad person.
We want to inspire people to keep going and keep thinking about what it takes to survive.
And, you know, there’s no such thing as a perfect life.”
Desert museum will hold the “Deserna Tour” on Tuesday, April 31 from 4:30 to 7 p.
